Slam Action Locks are typically used where a slam action is required to close a door or lid. This lock is a left hand lock, is a heavy duty lock, is typically mounted on the inside of a door, and has an 8mm square hole for fitment of external L handles or other attachments.
This lock is also available in a right hand lock (1085.05)

Commonly used in areas requiring two way access (i.e. inside and outside) such as in underground mining fire compartments and underground mine vehicles. Also used in applications for cranage, motor homes, camper trailers, marine, service vehicles and government vehicles.
