Rod locks are used to extend the locking mechanism to the edges of the material it is fitted to. This rod is to be used in conjunction with a handle, drop t lock, or other accessory. The rollers on this rod are to allow for smooth movement when opening and closing a lock. It is also used for thinner materials when mounting brackets may not be practical to install.
